The broadcasting alarm system of Guoshuo platform has been upgraded and renovated

The "Guoshuo" drilling platform is a JU2000E self elevating drilling platform built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and provided with basic design by F&G. The platform is 67.57 meters long, 76 meters wide, and 9.45 meters deep, with a maximum operating water depth of 122 meters and a maximum drilling depth of 10668 meters. The living building has a capacity of 140 people and is equipped with Cameron drilling equipment. It is currently one of the mainstream self elevating drilling platforms in international offshore equipment.

In order to meet the latest alarm signal requirements of the "SY T 6633-2019 Guidelines for Emergency Alarm Signals of Offshore Oil Facilities". The broadcast alarm system needs to be upgraded and renovated, with replacement repairs to the broadcast A/B control cabinets and the retention of existing peripheral equipment such as speakers and alarm lights; Newly installed four-color lights in platform workspaces, living areas, entertainment venues and restaurants, helicopter decks, main control stations, etc.

Upgraded and replaced broadcast alarm system

(1) Telephone voice broadcasting function;

(2) Platform status light display function (several alarm functions required in the "Guidelines for Emergency Alarm Signals of Offshore Oil Facilities")

(3) Related functions with various peripherals (including: programmable logic controller, fire and gas system, ship management system, entertainment system, status lights, ESD).

(4) Associated with the programmable controller: realizing broadcasting and broadcasting replay functions (the original system did not have replay functions).

(5) Associated with Ship Management System (VMS): The fault alarm signal of the broadcasting cabinet can be fed back to the ship management system.

(6) Associated with the fire and gas system: The fire and gas alarm signal can trigger the broadcast system;

(7) Associated with the entertainment system, it can cut off the power supply of the entertainment cabinet when the platform abandonment alarm is triggered.

(8) Universal alarm controller: including comprehensive alarm (fire alarm/oil spill/terrorist activity), blowout alarm, personnel falling into water alarm, oil and gas leakage alarm, evacuation alarm, and alarm release.
