The OBSERVATOR HMS 3.0 system powers the "RAWABI 505" wheel

'RAWABI 505' has a total length of 90 meters, a width of 23 meters, a depth of 8.5 meters, a design draft of 6.2 meters, a design speed of 10 knots, and is classified as ABS American Bureau of Shipping, which can sail in an unlimited sailing area. The ship is capable of carrying supplies and consumables needed for 28 days of continuous work, has DP-2 dynamic positioning capabilities, advanced equipment such as a 70-ton offshore crane, and is equipped with a helicopter platform. The helideck is equipped with the OBSERVATOR HMS3.0 system, which aims to provide comprehensive meteorological data for helicopter takeoff and landing, so as to ensure the safety of helicopter landing and staff.

Compared to the previous version, HMS3.0 has a more compact design and is based on the Observator OIC (Meote link) principle, and various sensors can be directly connected to the central processing unit, which means less wiring in terms of installation and significantly lower costs for users.
The HMS3.0 provided by OBSERVATOR can interface with a wide variety of weather probes, including wind direction, wind speed, helicopter deck air pressure, horizontal air pressure, temperature, humidity, visibility, dynamics, cloud height, wave height, status light, etc. The HMS 3.0 from OBSERVATOR is widely used in drilling rigs, FPSOs, buildings, heliports, wind farms and various types of ships. OBSERVATOR HMS 3.0 is based on the requirements of the latest CAP-437, the Standard for Landing Areas for Sea Helicopters, 9th Edition. In addition, the system meets the latest requirements of the Helicopter Platform Certification Body (HCA) described in the standard helicopter platform monitoring system Rev9C.
