Straatman BERTHING AID SYSTEM
The Straatman Berthing Aid System or so-called
Docking Aid System is Based on the latest laser and
LED technology. The laser system will measure the
distance from the jetty to the side of the approaching
vessel. Besides on a standard PC all values can be
displayed on a large display like distance (Bow and
Aft), speed of approaching and angle. Since the
display is based on LED technology we are able
to show other parameters as well like wind speed,
current, waves or other crucial information in order
to guarantee a safe mooring.
