The offshore booster station of Qingzhou Offshore Wind Power Project is huge, with a projected area close to the size of 7 standard basketball courts and a weight of about 6,382 tons. It is the largest and heaviest single offshore booster station in China at present, and its wind resistance can reach level 15 typhoon. The upper block is arranged in three layers with integrated layout and truss-type deck structure. It is composed of electrical, communication, HVAC, fire and other systems, and is a masterpiece in the field of power equipment and Marine engineering construction in China. The sea booster station is equipped with NDB, air radio and weather system to provide reliable data for helicopter flight and landing, so as to ensure that the helicopter reaches the destination accurately and safely.

The NDB omnidirectional radio beacon provided by SAC is an all-solid-state helicopter navigation equipment, which is widely installed in airports, airways, oil platforms, etc., for aviation or navigation to locate and guide helicopters to land. Customers can also control the beacon from different locations via the Intranet. With the use of different network interfaces, customers can customize the system to meet their own needs, and the technical performance meets the requirements of CAP437.

The air station is divided into two handheld and fixed, and the handheld walkie-talkie is generally equipped with anti-noise headphones. They can all communicate by voice with helicopters preparing to land on the platform.
